Chelsea Offer Fans Free Everton Trip

Chelsea will pay for their fans to go and watch the match at Everton as a sign of their anger at the fixture switch

Both teams are unhappy that the Goodison Park fixture has been moved forward 48 hours to Thursday, 17th April, with Chelsea particularly angry since they are also scheduled to play on Monday of that same week.

The fixture has been brought forward to suit television, but Chelsea have shown their disdain for BSkyB by vowing to use all of the £265,000 they will receive from the TV company to give fans a free day out.

3,000 Blues fans will be given free tickets and transport from London to Liverpool and back will be laid on.
